How it's DoneBest Free Keylogger (BFK) is a small piece of software that will record all your keystrokes and screens.
Go to www.sourceforge.net/projects/bfk. Select Download to download and run bfk.exe. During installation, select the defaults. Once you’ve installed the program, BFK will pop up the settings dialog. Take note of the default hotkey Ctrl+Shift+B, and click Start Logging. As soon as you hit the Start Logging key, the BFK software client will disappear from the screen.
Open a browser, launch your e-mail service of choice, and type a message. Then press Ctrl+Shift+B, and BFK will pop back up. Click on the Logging tab, and then the View Report button. Everything you just did appears. Feel free to experiment with the screenshot functionality, which can be used for automatic screen captures.
Don’t forget to uninstall this program when you’re done. Since this is a friendly keylogger, you can remove it using Add/Remove Programs. The tools the bad guys put on your computer aren’t nearly as nice.
Prevent this HackBe wary of software that is delivered via e-mail. Merritt also suggests “never clicking a link in your e-mail to log into any bank account or site that might have personal information.” Type in the Web address yourself and ignore e-mail from people you don’t know. Also, make sure your virus protection is up to date on your computer and that it scans e-mail attachments. Spyware can also be sent via the browser, so make sure Internet Explorer security is up to date—or use Firefox.
